		Birth date: April 21st, 1996 Parents: Greendykes Lucky Shot x Croagmore Lucy Description: Landmark is the sire of many champions. Thistle Ridge Royal Marrely, Freedom Royal Majestic, Thistle Ridge Royal Merrelly, Thistle Ridge Royal Highlight, and Weatherhill Ila to name just a few. Landmark was named in the 2005 contact for the class ‘Proven’. Landmark is recognized for giving very leggy foals, with the right color, and most important, a very sweet personality. At the 2004 complete dispersal sale of Thistle Ridge, Landmark’s progeny under 2 years old sold for an average of $12,500 CN. A filly foal was sold for $17,000 CN, and a stud foal for $14,000 CN. Landmark made his mark in the show ring as a foal through 3 years of age. He came back in the showring in 2004 after the dispersal sale at the age of 8. He went on to be the Senior Champion at the Quebec Provincial show. His last appearance was in 2007 at the Quebec provincial show, where he grabbed the Supreme Championship. At Freedom Acres, we are honored to be the home of this true Champion. Hopefully, Landmark’s progeny will continue his legacy. More info

		Birth date: June 21st, 2002 Parents: Hillmoor Landmark x Thistle Ridge Agryll Molly Description: Magic is one of the most prolific stallion in Canada. He stands 18. He has proven himself in the show ring, being a class winner at the World Clydesdales show in 2007, reserve Grand Champion at the 2005 Royal Winter Fair in Toronto and multiple Grand and/or Supreme Championships in Eastern Canada. He is now recognized internationally, having sons and daughters shining in Scotland, in the United States and of course in Canada. The best Clydesdales breeders say that the pedigree on the maternal side is the most important for a breeding stallion. Look at Magic's maternal genetics: ‘Thistle Ridge Argyll Molly’ was undefeated as a yearling in the U.S. and in Canada, and was named All-American at 1 year old and All Canadian at 1 and 10 years old; ‘ Whinhill Crystal’ & ‘Croagmore Lucy’ were among the best proven broodmares in the 90s. Croagmore Lucy is Magic’s grandmother on his paternal side. It is fair to assume that Magic has the genetics to breed quality. It is now time for him to prove his ‘magic’. More info

Losing his mother on the second day of his life, he has not yet caught up with other horses of his age. However, we honestly believe that he has the nicest bottom of any horse we have ever had. He should mature big enough to be a solid breeding horse. We will not use ‘Exception’ until he is at least 3 years old. We called him exception first, because he has a white ‘E’ on the right side of his rump, and second, because he is an exception to still be alive after having gone through so much difficulty after birth. His sire, ‘Hillmoor Ballad’, is a last son of the well-known daughter of ‘Ayton Perfection’, ‘Stainsby Blossom’. ‘Ballad’ was sired by ‘Hillmoor Lucky Shot’, a ‘Greendykes Lucky Shot’ son. ‘Exception’s’ dam is ‘Thistle Ridge Argyll Molly’, and his grand dam is ‘Whinhill Crystal'. ‘Exception’ has the pedigree to breed top quality Clydesdales. ‘Exception’ is also bred from great moving horses. ‘Hillmoor Ballad’ is a great hitch horse, and there is no doubt about ‘Molly’s’ ability to move. People who have had the chance to see Molly, either in a line class or in a hitch, know that she was an amazing mare. More info
